How Infrared, Red Light, Fascia Compression and Lymphatic Practices Help Me Reset from the Inside Out
Did you know your lymphatic system moves about 3 liters of fluid through your body each day, yet unlike your heart, it doesn’t have its own pump to keep things flowing? That means your body relies on movement, breath, and intentional practices to keep the system working efficiently.
This is why I’m such a believer in combining infrared sauna, red light therapy, and lymphatic movement—they work synergistically to:
-
Support natural detoxification
-
Reduce inflammation and water retention
-
Improve circulation and energy flow

My Experience with Psoas Spasm Relief
Earlier today, I had a spasm in my back near my psoas muscle, and I immediately turned to infrared and red light therapy. It made such a noticeable difference.
Why? Because the psoas isn’t just a muscle—it’s deeply tied to your nervous system. Often referred to as the “muscle of the soul,” the psoas is a major player in your body’s fight-or-flight response. It stores unprocessed stress and trauma, and when it’s tight or inflamed, it can affect everything from posture to digestion to emotional regulation.
Infrared heat helped soften the surrounding tissues and calm the area, while red light therapy penetrated deeper into the fascia to reduce inflammation and support cellular repair. For me, it wasn’t just physical relief—it helped regulate my whole system and bring me back to a grounded, safe place in my body.
If fascia and mobility are areas you're working on, we also share more tools in our Fascia Release + Recovery Toolkit.
Why I Practice This Regularly
Sauna sessions have become a sacred practice for me—not just to sweat, but to honor my body’s ability to heal, adapt, and release. When paired with lymphatic movement or fascia-focused work, the benefits amplify. I feel lighter, clearer, and more in tune with myself.
If you're curious about integrating these methods into your wellness routine, our TightVIBE™ movement classes incorporate breath, vibration, fascia flow, and lymphatic stimulation in every session.
